Description
Anne Feeney, Pittsburgh activist and labor singer, has gathered other professional musicians to Sing Out for single payer health care reform. Modeled after the traveling chautauquas of the 1930s, these concerts will run from San Diego, CA to Bellingham, WA. They will appear in La Jolla entertaining, mobilizing, educating, inspiring and energizing folks on health care reform. The event will also feature a reading of "Ladies for Single Payer," a new play by award-winning La Jolla playwright Anita Simons featuring the acting talents of San Diego's finest actresses: Jill Drexler, Dana Hooley, Linda Libby, Veronica Murphy, and Mary Relator.
