This Course Will Cover The Basics Of Feature Writing, From Developing Ideas, Making Useful Contacts And Interviewing, To The Nuts And Bolts Of The Writing Process. The How-Tos Include Structuring A Story, Integrating Quotes And Self-Editing. Students Will Participate In A Variety Of Writing Exercises As Well As In-Class Interviews And A Press Conference. Participants Will Learn Both The Mechanics Of Freelancing And The Realities Of The Journalism Business.
