      Opening Reception

      The Public is invited to come celebrate the opening of three fabulous new exhibits at the Art Museum.
      Opening Remarks will be at 7:15pm by Thomas Lucas, Michael Martin, and Mona Berg.

      Thomas Lucas: Moving Parts presents juxtaposition with diverse ways of creating artworks centered around the medium of Printmaking in addition to a showcase of prints created collaboratively through Hummingbird Press Editions also by artist and master printmaker Thomas Lucas.

      From Whence I Came: Works by Michael and Howard Martin features finely- detailed pencil drawings that trace his work from the influence of his father, Howard, through his early school work in oil and other media, to the refined pencil drawings that we are familiar with in the greater Lafayette area.

      Bridging Borders: Works from the Permanent Collection illustrates how over time, art can spread and influence everything around it. Art can be used to show people’s lives, celebrate customs, critique current events, present personal reflections, explore the world around us, and much more. Art does not stop at a country’s border.
