      Lost Bayou Ramblers
April 13 – Parc Sans Souci
The Lost Bayou Ramblers are the keepers of the flame, champions of Cajun music's cultural past. Growing up in Acadiana, Louis (fiddle and vocals) and Andre (accordion) Michot were immersed in roots Cajun music from birth, primarily since their father and uncles were already touring the world playing traditional songs as the band Les Freres Michot. After a decade of "initiation" on triangle, guitar, and bass, Andre and Louis felt they were prepared to take on the lead instruments - accordion and violin - and pick up the torch as the next generation in the evolution of their musical heritage. http://www.lostbayouramblers.com/

      Nik-L Beer

For more than 30 years, Acadiana's party band, Nik-L Beer, has been delighting audiences across Louisiana. Gregg Martinez and the Delta Kings
May 4 – Parc Sans Souci
Gregg Martinez, whose blend of blues, R&B and swamp pop music he describes as "bayou blues and Creole soul” is from south Louisiana. Lil Buck
May 11 – Parc Sans Souci
Touted as the best guitar slinger South Louisiana has to offer, Paul "Lil' Buck" Sinegal honed his chops as an Excello session man and Clifton Chenier's longtime guitarist. Revered for his work with Lil' Bob, Rockin' Dopsie, and Fernest Arcenaux, Lil' Buck also recorded his own killer instrumentals in the late '60s. More recently, he co-founded the Lafayette-based all-star aggregation Cowboy Stew Blues Revue. In 1999, Lil' Buck was inducted into the Louisiana Blues Hall of Fame. Lil' Buck has electrified Canadian, European and American audiences with his performances over the last four decades. Sinegal is a guitarist's guitarist born and raised right here in Lafayette, Louisiana. Link to image.

      Creole String Beans
May 18 – Parc Sans Souci
Creole String Beans are THE classic New Orleans Party Band with Lafayette flavor. With exceptional taste in song selection and a repertoire that ranges far and wide from Fats Domino and Bobby Charles to Duke Ellington and NRBQ, the 'Beans are able to take their devoted dance fans to dangerous altitudes of twistin'n'shoutin' ecstasy with high energy and melodic finesse. Called "the best tasting band in New Orleans" by Chef John Besh, The Creole String Beans have defined a new era in 21st Century "Y'at Rock" on stages from the New Orleans Jazz Fest to back-o-town dives. http://www.creolestringbeans.com/

Lil Wayne & The Same Ole' Two Step
May 25 – Parc Sans Souci
Although good Zydeco music in southwest Louisiana is prevalent, some musicians just stand out. Lil' Wayne & Same Ol' Two Step shine as a high-energy band, generating both old- and new-style Zydeco music with a distinct way of blending the two, putting them at a totally different level. Lil' Wayne is a young, but a very knowledgeable accordionist and lead vocalist who cut his teeth with the legendary Zydeco Force, so you know that he knows what it's all about! http://www.lilwayneandsameol2step.com/

      Rareluth and Royal Teeth
June 1 – Parc Sans Souci
Comprised of accomplished musicians Christine Peirce, Blake Ortego and Ryan DeJean from troupes, groups and parties, Rareluth has been established as a near-household name in the Lafayette music scene. Blending Indie, Electronica and a hint of dance, Rareluth accomplishes what few can, making energetic and enjoyable music that gets you out of your seat and on your feet. http://www.rareluth.com/ Link to image.
More often than not, Royal Teeth tries something, and despite the odds or would-be roadblocks, it simply works. Recruit a lead vocalist who has never been in a band before? Check. Record a cover of a popular, mega-selling single for the band's debut EP? Why not? High on the release of "Act Naturally”, the vocal duo of Gary Larsen and Nora Patterson provide heartfelt lyrics as this sextet of musicians travels through melodic soundscapes via a synth-infused sound, all the while boasting a brand all to itself that's not quite "dance pop” and not overly electronic. In fact, Royal Teeth are only interested in being themselves. Furthermore, if making music and having audiences respond well is a difficult thing, it's news to them. http://www.royalteethmusic.com/
