The January Meeting is our Members' Photo Share

After the holidays, join us for our photo share meeting. This program provides the perfect opportunity to show off your photography skills and socialize with everyone at the beginning of the New Year. All photographers and birders, novice or seasoned, are encouraged to share their bird and nature-related photographs with the group.

Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at 6:45 p.m. in Room 118 of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. All visitors are welcome, whether local or out-of-town guests! Each meeting consists of a short business meeting, sharing of bird sightings, and a speaker. Refreshments and socializing also precede and follow each meeting.

The Knoxville Chapter of the Tennessee Ornithological Society (KTOS) was organized in 1924 to promote the enjoyment, scientific study, and conservation of birds. Activities include monthly meetings, field trips each month; spring, fall, and Christmas Bird Counts; and projects like our Sharp's Ridge clean-up each spring and fall and the J. B. Owen Memorial Award.
