      Bike Movie Night: Afghan Cycles

In the feature length film "Afghan Cycles" filmmaker Sarah Menzies documents Afghan women who defy family and cultural norms to do what they love: ride bicycles. This screening is part of our 96 Hours of Cycling event-- four days of celebrating life of two wheels with classes, events, and discounts on bike gear & shop services.

Join us at Alliance Brewing in South Knoxville! The movie starts at 5pm. Bring an old bike or spare parts to donate to DreamBikes for a free beverage! DreamBikes employs teens from the area to work in the store; teaching them how to refurbish bicycles, use the POS software, and to deliver great customer service. DreamBikes provides lifelong skills to their teen employees, helping them to shift gears and find a bright future.
