Eastside Writers February Meetup

Meeting to introduce ourselves and learn about our respective writing goals. Feel free to bring a notebook and use the time to write or bring a piece of writing (yours or someone else's) to read a portion of and discuss. The second Tuesday evening of each month is our time to encourage each other. I hope that folks will also use it as a time to plan other writing related get togethers. First Draft, Word Count, Page count and Revision parties etc. Harness the power of being accountable to other writers. "Okay, I'll see you Tuesday with three new pages..." Or just share your struggles and triumphs as you put one letter after another. Please check out our message board and add your suggestions there for meeting locations times etc. This is a drop-in group. The meeting lasts from 6-9. You are welcome to show up any time between 6-9 and stay for as long or as short a time as you like.
