Joker’s Icehouse Comedy Competition & Show

Eleven local comedians to battle it out for top prize … then nationally touring comedians and Justice League of Comedy members Kyle Davis and King Rich to close with professional comedy show.

Killeen, TX – March 17, 2010 – Joker’s Icehouse (704-B E Veterans Memorial Blvd) will become the area’s home for stand-up comedy at 7pm on Monday, March 29th as eleven hopefuls battle it out to prove who’s the funniest. Competing in the showcase are local comics Dan South, Dwayne D-1, Paul Roca, Deon Moore, Carl Clark, Ethan Moore, JD Styles, Brandon Raynes, Sick Mick, Joe Thomason and Eric Kennedy. The program will be hosted by Channing Kingery-Boles with special guest judges Trippin’ Dawn (from 107.3 Fox Rocks), Don Jones of Down Slid and Sid Blevins of Full Battle Rattle.

Immediately following the competition performances, professional touring comedians Kyle Davis and headliner King Rich will take the stage. There is no cover and no drink minimum for the show.

He comes to Killeen fresh from an appearance at the Dallas Comedy Festival and has recently performed up and down the east coast with performances at EastVille Comedy Club (NYC), the Charleston (SC) Comedy Festival and his DVD taping at the Nutt St Comedy Room in Wilmington NC.
