This rapid learning course is specially designed to help you take great pictures in a short amount of time. Over the course of three 60 and 90 minute seminars, we take you on a journey starting with the advanced fundamentals of good shooting right through getting a great image using Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.

This course is designed for photographers with at least some experience. You should also own a DSLR, or have ready access to one.  

The three seminars are held on a Wednesday night, then the following Monday and Tuesday nights. In between we send you into the field to take some shots, which are then used for the basis of our course work.

1. Advanced fundamentals.

Exposure. Exposure modes. Focus. Focus modes. Color. Equipment. Subject techniques. Field assignments. Wednesday, 6pm, 1 hour.

2. Image assessment.

Photographers bring in a select number of images from their shoots. We assess them in-class with respect to what was learned in Advanced Fundamentals. Monday, 6pm, 1 hour.

3. The Perfect Image. 

Overview of Photoshop and Lightroom. Basic workflow. Layers, masks and fills. One photo from each student is processed during the class to demonstrate Photoshop and Lightroom techniques. Tuesday, 6pm, 90 minutes.
