Our First Birthday! Let's Go to A Country Club!

Hello everyone! The location of our next meeting will be at the Glen Acres Country Club at 1000 S. 112th Street, Seattle, Washington 98168 just north of Burien. Their phone number is (206)244-1720. Look at our meetup site and scroll down to see the location of the meeting and you should be able to pull up a map for more details. We will be treated to a continental breakfast thanks to Mick Kelly's Catering. If you hear of anyone who would like to have an event where you have a wonderful view of Seattle, but they don't want to mess with Seattle traffic, this would be a good venue to suggest, or...hand them off to any of the event planners in our group. Any of us event planners would be glad to help. Just as we began last year, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving (Tuesday, November 24th) will be our first meeting to begin our second year. It's hard to believe that it has been one year since our very first meeting. We had about a dozen or so members at that time! Since it's going to be our 1st Birthday, anniversary or whatever you want to call it, this will be your chance to shine and show off your special talents. If you want to showcase at the meeting please email me from the website as soon as possible and put in the subject line: Showcasing for the November Meeting. Also, the first 5 people who RSVP, I will make sure you have a smaller table to showcase your business or place of work as well. We will begin our meeting with an insightful presentation by Ken Kalliainen. You can see his profile on SKC Event and Wedding Vendor's site. He will have some inspirational stories and more than likely provoke a few new thoughts on how you run your own business or how you deal with your place of employment for those of you who don't own a business. After Ken speaks, I will have a contest for you. It will involve how well you know what our members do just by looking at their profiles or remembering information they have given at past meetings. Those of you who have attended meetings in the past or take the time to look over the profiles of other members, will have the advantage! So, if you haven't set up a profile, I would encourage you to do so! I will also have a special announcement for a very exciting event to be held next year that you can participate in as well as other opportunities that have presented themselves recently.
