NTPI Presents: An Inside Look at the Hunt for Ghosts and Supernatural Activity Do you believe in ghosts? Most of us think of ghosts as rare elusive creatures that are inaccessible to the average person. But we need to look no further than the bookstore or current television programs to see that the paranormal has become of huge interest to writers and readers. From the book The Turn of the Screw to the recent book, Knockout by Catherine Coulter there has always been someone who wanted to write stories about ghosts. But we’ll never run into one—right? Don’t be so sure. Even if you’ve never personally seen a ghost, you’ve probably heard of someone who has. NTPI, the North Texas Paranormal Investigations team has been conducting paranormal research for over ten years in the DFW area. The men and women of NTPI pursue ghosts and other supernatural phenomena with the most sophisticated scientific equipment available to help them locate and document paranormal activity. They are believers, but also skeptics. They all have had personal experiences they believe to be paranormal. Chris, the chief investigator, said they keep an open mind on all investigations. They will explain equipment they use and tell you about their hair raising investigations into a fascinating, frightening field.
