We will be teaching the intro grade classes for KFM, starting with the white classes. KFM is different than almost every other defense system as they will not issue a ranking until you have proven that you understand and can perform those tasks. Where many art and sport systems issue a white belt automatically because they use a Gee (Pajamas) that require a belt to hold them closed, you cannot purchase a grade or status it must be earned. KFM also meets you where you are in your own clothes (what you will normally be wearing if you are ever attacked). Because an attacker won't wait while you change your clothes. Keysi Fighting Method (KFM) is the consequence of real events, experiences and subsequent years of investigation by its founders Justo Dieguez and Andy Norman. KFM is NOT a martial art, it was born on the streets of Spanish gypsy origin in the late 1950's, therefore old and primitive traditions do not bind it, nor do they limit its never-ending process of evolution. If we are to truly grow and develop as human beings then we must first break free from all past conditioning. KFM is an art form dedicated towards the study and investigation of survival in the modern day urban environment. You must allow yourself to evolve and grow on a daily basis if you are to truly absorb the essence of KFM. KFM lives in the blood and not in the collection of techniques.
