BOONE & CROCKET SCORING

If you have a prize trophy from your hunt that you would like measured and scored. Bring it to Bass Pro Shops in Katy. We have 2 official BOONE & CROCKET scorers on staff. The following information will help determine if your trophy will qualify.

Here are a few basic rules on scoring antlers for Boone & Crockett:

*Antlers must be at least 90 days old. Either killed or removed from the freezer more than
90 days ago.
*Antlers must still be on the skull cap and the skull cap must be in one piece. If it has
been glued or the antlers are not still joined to the skull cap they cannot be measured.
Sheds cannot be measured.
*Must be from low fence property. If you wish to send it in to Boone & Crockett you and the l
land owner must sign an affidavit stating this.
*If the antlers have been measured and certified previously we cannot measure them again.
They don’t grow once they are dead.
