Sprint Center

The Sprint Center is one of Kansas City’s premier venues for sports and live entertainment. The Sprint Center features more than 19,000 seats, 72 suites and amazing glass walls. Though the Sprint Center Kansas City first opened in 2007 and is still fairly a baby in the venue industry, it is already starting to make quite a name for itself.

If the glass exterior isn’t enough to convince you of its greatness, maybe the various national events it holds and the upcoming projects they have in store will. The Sprint Center schedule has hosted a number of nationally acclaimed collegiate events like the 2008 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament and the 2009 NCAA Men’s Tournament. In addition, the Sprint Center schedule is also contracted to host the 2010 NCAA Women’s Tournament. The city has also started to consider moving some of the local professional sports teams to the Sprint Center. Regardless of any confirmation, the Sprint Center Kansas City is bound for stardom.

Great names like Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, AC/DC, Nickelback and Rascal Flatts are already featured on the coming Sprint Center schedule.
