Description
The American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP), is North Americas largest meat trade organization. Membership includes more than 1,700 medium-sized and smaller meat, poultry and food businesses slaughterers, packers, processors, wholesalers, in-home food service business, retailers, deli and catering operators, and industry suppliers. AAMP members are from the U.S., Canadian provinces and several foreign countries. The annual AAMP convention is the largest event that occurs. The convention contains numerous educational programs, a supplier trade show, the American Cured Meat Championships, and social events. Meat industry suppliers will be operating exhibit booths showing equipment and supplies servicing the meat industry and offering education and consultation in the Exhibit Hall.
