2011 FebruHairy Cardboard Sled Race, Chilli Cook Off and Ugly Sweater Contest!

Hello Enthusiasts, Last winter, a bunch of us attended the Battle Creek Moustache Society's Cardboard Sled Race, Chilli Cookoff, and Ugly Sweater contest - and it was a ridiculously great time! In just an 8 hour basement operation, Brrasie, Bettina and I built "Fool Runnings", the hurtin but still badass enough cardboard sled that Brrasie and I then raced at the FebruHairy event. This year, we plan to do it again. Whose with me? Stay tuned for me details on this event, as FebruHairy approaches. As for now - the BCMAMS provide the following information on this event: What: Festivus 2011--Cardboard Sleds, Chili Cook-off, Ugly Sweaters When: Saturday, February 5, 2011 · 11:00am - 4:00pm Where: Leila Arboretum At Kingman Museum Parking Lot - off Limit Street (Battle Creek) - GOOGLE IT! Cost: Free Community Event! Details: Carboard sled races -> bring your own Cardboard Sled--Theme it because competition is pretty stiff (See photos from last year). CARDBOARD AND ADHESIVE AND DECOR ONLY!!! Chilli Cookers -> bring a Crockpot of Chili for the "Put your money where your mouth is" Chili Cook Off. CROCKPOTS ONLY!!! F-Ugly Sweater wearers -> wear an ugly sweater form your grandma's closet. Warming Tents, Local Refreshments,and a whole huge dose of BCMAMS tomfoolery.....Join the revolution and the future of BC Events! IMPORTANT: If you are entering a sled OR a chilli, you MUST be there by 11am to register. Also - bring cash for the chili cook off. Hope to see you there, Enthuasiasts.
