Age Groups: 15K and 5K, Men and Women: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and Over.

Course Description:
  • The 15K is a challenging course that starts at the Clayton County International Park near the south gate going east on Walt Stephens Road, turn right onto Bayview Drive, turn left onto Lost Valley Drive, turn right onto Blackhall Road, right onto Lake Jodeco Road, turn left onto Floyd Road, turn right onto Jodeco Drive, cross Lake Jodeco Road onto Emerald Drive, turn right onto Camp Avenue, turn right onto Walt Stephens Road, and turn left back into the park and the finish line. The lowest elevation on the course is 770' and the highest elevation is 850'. The course makes the best use of those streets that have the least vehicle traffic so as not to be a nuisance to the community and the best route to enjoy views of Lake Spivey and Lake Jodeco. The 5K course runners/walkers will also start at the park gate. Runners/walkers turn left off of Walt Stephens Road onto Seven Oaks Road. The 5K winds through the Lake Spivey Coutry Club and Foxfire subdivision before returning to the park and the finishline. park. The lowest elevation on this course is 794' and the highest is 894'.

    Distances:
    15K (9.3 miles) run and 5k (3.1 miles) run/walk.

    Classes, Costs, and Awards:
    Registration is $25.00 through October 3rd, $30.00 after October 3rd, $35.00 after October 24th. Online, mailed and in person registration forms must be received on or before Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009. Day-of-Race Registration is $40.00
