Product Manager Back to introduction

Eventful.com is the leading events search, promotion and creation website. We are a rapidly growing Web 2.0 internet company looking for a world class Product Manager who brings innovative, creative and disciplined approach to building out key features and functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain ownership of several key features and functionalities
  • Manage products through complete product life cycle from requirements gathering, production, rollout and analytics
  • Measure user adoption and satisfaction with products, features and functionality, and drive for continuous improvement
  • Work with cross functional team to define product’s business, user experience and technical requirements
  • Make trade-off decisions between functionality, resources and timeframes as needed
  • Identify and integrate revenue opportunities into new and existing products
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of fast-changing competitive landscape

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years product management experience
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering successful web-based, consumer focused products
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term product roadmaps
  • Demonstrated success in front-line execution of new products
  • Strong analytical skills in Web usage metrics
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Ability to asses risk, manage conflict, and demonstrate good business judgment
  • Bachelor degree required; MBA is a plus
