Email Marketing Manager

Eventful, Inc. is a leading digital media company focused on live events and entertainment, with a direct marketing channel targeting entertainment-oriented consumers. We seek an Email Marketing Manager to plan, coordinate and execute multiple email marketing campaigns to support product, marketing and sales objectives.

The ideal candidate is current on email marketing best practices, with regard to publishing strategies, campaign analysis, deliverability, segmentation, and CAN-SPAM compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain the email marketing communications production schedule to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

  • Monitor email reputation and work with ISPs to setup/manage feedback loops and resolve deliverability issues.

  • Monitor user email preferences and work with Community Manager to ensure feedback and unsubscribe responses are processed.

  • Track all email campaigns via propriety analytics system, analyze performance data and recommend optimized deployment strategies.

  • Improve the performance of current email portfolio through a methodical process of testing, analyzing, and optimizing each campaign.

Skills:

BA/BS with 2+ years experience in Email Marketing and B2C Online Marketing.

  • Ideal candidates bring direct Email Marketing experience from successful online B2C companies, email marketing service providers or online media/publishing companies.

  • Hands-on and in-depth experience across the end-to-end email marketing process.

  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM requirements and experience optimizing email creative’s based on analytics and deliverability.

  • Solid understanding of HTML email coding, email rendering and design, technical email platforms, unsubscribe requirements, deliverability testing, and segmentation strategies.

  • Proficient in MS Office suite with strong expertise in Excel.
