Description
This course is for those who want a comfortable setting in which to push the boundaries of their painting. You will work each week from a still life or a model, moving from representation toward expression; one date will be a field trip. Emphasis will be on interrelationships between subject and environment, and experimentation with gesture, composition, rhythm, and color. All levels welcome. 8 Saturdays, 9:30am–12:30pm, Oct. 3–Nov. 21.
