The Jax Beach Childless Not By Choice Kickoff Party

My name is Jeanie, and I am starting this Meetup group in hopes of bringing others that are hurting like me, together. This will be the first Meetup and it is my hope that some of the first to join will help me develop a platform for our group. We will discuss what our needs are, and how we may be able to focus on meeting them. Do we want it to be a social feel meet up, or more informative with guest speakers and topic focus type meetings. This is the chance to be on the ground level of organizing this group and it is my hope that we all find friendship, compassion and a sense of belonging, where we can feel free to laugh, cry, have fun and bond. Not having a child tends to isolate people. We don't have little league or PTA, we typically aren't part of the neighborhoods barbecues, and oh, Halloween. I have so much candy, because no one came to my door. These are some of the hurts I feel, and I just can't imagine that there aren't others out there sitting home alone, feeling the same way. So, come on out and join me in creating a place for us. As for the location, I am open to suggestions. We can start at the library, but I am open to a place for dinner as well. I will wait for feedback and we can change it if anyone has a better suggestion.
