DECEMBER CHRISTMAS DINNER MEETUP

OMG---DO PLAN TO COME TO THIS CHRISTMAS LUNCH CHIHUAHUA MEETUP. LOCATION IS MANDARIN PARK ON THE RIVER don't forget your camera the view is beautiful on the river with the sailboats across the river.. the area is woods/paved walkways/trails if you wish and a boat launch with a really nice dock you can walk out onto the river... the pavilion we will be using is #2 4 large tables and covered and it has a bright green grass area right next to it..also, you can drive your car right up to the pavilion-so no problem with carrying things. there are really nice restrooms right behind where we park our cars. roads are all paved. what a really nice park.. we will have the xpens there in a circle as usual for the doggies to play. another way to go to the park--go south down san jose PASS ORANGE PICKER RD to the GATE GAS STATION AND TURN RIGHT-GOES TO THE MANDARIN PARK heather was there and gave me these new directions. directions...from interstate 295--go south(away from town) on SAN JOSE. go to ORANGE PICKER ROAD and turn right. go to MANDARIN ROAD and turn left. go through the stop sign and MANDARIN PARK IS ON YOUR RIGHT. go to the boat launch area and make the circle and then turn right into #2 pavilion-you will see the large restroon building as you turn. i have reserved this pavilion for us already with the city of jacksonville. i will be bringing turkeys and several vegetables. i need you to bring-if you can- your favorite dish or dessert and of course your drinks.. no alcohol allowed in the park. also, please bring a gift for the homeless dogs of jax. a can of dog food-a blanket--a toy etc--whatever you have. this will be the presents for the meetup--we will help the homeless dogs of jax. Mandarin Park Amenities: 19 benches 1 dock (pedestrian) 42 parking spaces for automobiles 4 grills 3 picnic shelters 8 picnic tables 6 play areas Multi playscapes 1 restroom facility 4 shuffleboard courts 2 tennis courts 1 trail (2.5 miles, paved) 16 trash receptacles 1 visitor/interpretive center PLEASE TRY AND ATTEND THIS MEETUP AND LET'S DRESS IN RED AND GREEN AND DO THE SAME WITH OUR PUPS IF WE HAVE IT THE PICTURES OF THIS MEETUP WILL BE WONDERFUL..IF ANYONE HAS A SANTA SUIT--BRING OR WEAR IT AND WE CAN DO SANTA PICTURES. THE ACTUAL TIME FOR THIS MEETUP IS 1 PM, BUT I HAVE RESERVED THE PAVILION FROM NOON TO 4:30 PM.
