BACKGROUND: There are many animal lovers in our community who are completely unaware of the pet overpopulation crisis here on the First Coast. The number of pets entering our local shelters is overwhelming. 60-120 adoptable dogs and cats are killed every day simply due to space limitations in overcrowded shelters. This is a problem we can and have to solve! FCNMHP is committed to ending the needless killing of cats and dogs through the only real solution – High volume, high quality FREE and Low-Cost spay/neuter programs.
