Warren Holiday TreeFest

 A “Spectacular Celebration” awaits visitors to the 20^th anniversary of TreeFest, November 21-25 at the Warren Performing Arts Center on the campus of Warren Central High School, 9500 East 16^th Street.

TreeFest is presented by the Warren Arts & Education Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that funds grants for a wide variety of educational activities in Warren Township Schools.  TreeFest has served as a traditional kick-off to the holiday season on the city’s far-eastside for two decades – although the event is enjoyed by holiday enthusiasts from throughout the metro area, not just Warren Township.

More than 40 permanently and spectacularly decorated holiday trees will be on display during “A Spectacular Celebration” – from towering 10-foot timbers embellished by professional designers to compact two-and-a-half foot specimens decorated by area celebrities.  All trees are for sale, and can be purchased prior to or during TreeFest.  The trees are ideal for home or business, and will be delivered free within a 25-mile radius of Indianapolis following the conclusion of the event.

Entertainment by area choirs will be on-going throughout TreeFest.  A gift shop will offer the latest in holiday décor items, including some one-of-a-kind treasures.

Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for students and senior adults (60+ years); children six and under are free.  TreeFest hours are:  November 21, 24 & 25 – 3:30 to 8 pm; November 22 – 12 noon to 4 pm; November 23 – 12 noon to 8 pm.

Another event associated with TreeFest takes place on the evening of Saturday, November 22 at the Community Life Center on East Washington Street in Cumberland.  A festive buffet dinner plus live and silent auctions for an incredible array of items will be held. Tickets are $30 per person; reservations are requested by November 7.
