Start Point Address / Driving Directions:
9530 E. 59th Street, Indianapolis (Lawrence), Indiana. The start point is located on the northeast side of Indianapolis at Lawrence Fire Staion #2. From I 465 (on the eastside} take the 56th Street exit (Exit 40) and go east. Follow 56th St. for 2.4 miles to Lee Rd. (the eighth traffic signal). Turn left (north) on Lee Rd. to 59th Street. The fire station is on the northeast corner. Use the parking lot next to the fire station off 59th St . Event Description: Dawn to dusk. 7 days per week. The start box is located in the lobby of the fire station. The 10K trail wanders city sidewalks and roads and covers portions of the former Army post. The trail is suitable for strollers and wagons. Special programs include college campus (IVY Tech), railroad heritage (Indiana Interurban) and cemeteries (Spring Valley - a small pioneer cemetery)
