The Indianapolis PHP January Meetup

For the January PHP meetup, Ed is going to show off his new G1 Android (otherwise known as the Google phone) that he got for Christmas. We'll pit the Android against my 3G iPhone (3gs are better than 1g) and crown a victor...or at least have some fun. Hope you all can make it. Don't wuss out just because of the sub-zero temperatures! Keep yourself comfortable by the warm glow of your monitor as you code and debug through the winter. Speaking of phones, I'll be talking a bit about a project I recently completed that sends SMS reminder messages as a form of Email marketing. Don't worry, I'm not going to SPAM you with SMS messages, but I'll show you how to do it! There's some serious money to be made in the area of SMS marketing in the next few years, and I've got the low-down on how it all works.
