Description
Rock the District Carmel Events Web site On Saturday, July 11, 2009, the Carmel Arts & Design District will explode in sound as the summerÂ’s hottest free concert event, Rock the District, returns to central Indiana. Drawing thousands each year, the free community-wide music festival and shopping extravaganza will take place from noon to 9 p.m. Attendees will be entertained by eight hours of music on three different stages. In addition, more than 100 specialty shops, galleries and vendors in downtown Carmel will be open to greet visitors, many with special activities, drawings and sales. Meet in front of MudBugs Cafe at noon! Maureen has an additional commitment that evening; however, the Meetup group can stay throughout the evening if desired, since the event continues till 9 p.m.
