Appalachian rooted Midwestern hayseed rock and roll subtle as a hand-grenade in a bowl of grits. From Southwestern Ohio, Okeanas have been servin' up their blend of hillbilly seasoned rock in the venues of the Midwest, off and on, for over a decade. With a taste for the dark poetry of traditional country music blended with slabs of crunchy guitars and tasty drums, Okeanas bring a rare dish to the table. Long ago Okeanas realized, as Barley Scotch put it, the “Lost Highway” and the “Highway to Hell” are the same road.
