Come join us for the third IndyDevHouse coming up soon in November! Our October meetup was a great success, with around 12 people in total coming through during the day. Here's some of what we did: Worked on Titanium platform-based mobile apps (this was pretty popular!) Talked about the benefits of Git vs. SVN Explored the features of HTML 5.0 and Google Gears And much more! What can YOU work on at the upcoming DevHouse? Once you've RSVPed, tell us about it on our new wiki! The Details This meetup is a party--come and go as you please between 2pm and 9pm! You can use the time however you like, but if you're looking for some structure, we might set up some challenges for us to attempt. Here are some suggestions for how to use the time: Learn a new programming language Develop something on that new platform/API you've been interested in Create the next Shotgun app for the iPhone See what someone else is working on and out-do them by building the same thing in two minutes with the application framework you developed last week What to expect: We'll have tables and chairs, power strips and wifi setup for you There will be snacks and drinks (red bull, beer, wine) and we'll order pizza for dinner if people are interested A chance to talk about what you're working on -- let me know if you're interested! What to bring: Your laptop Any cool sort of technology you want to show off Snacks/drink to contribute (I can't guarantee there will be any beer left when you get here!) Cash if you want to get in on pizza A friend! Please let me know if you have a projector you could bring! That will help if people want to present what they've been working on. We'll probably do that around 7pm.
