Hindu marriage ceremonies are filled with vibrant colors, rituals, and symbolism; wedding festivities often last for days. Indian wedding customs vary by state, family, and religious beliefs. Experience the rich traditions of a (mock) Hindu marriage ceremony - yes, a shortened version in English designed to enlighten the audience. Our own meetup member, Charles Crenshaw, has served as a pandit (priest) in real Hindu wedding ceremonies; he will be coordinating this one for the meetup group. The festivities will be over by 5pm. Dress comfortably and colorfully!
