Deck the Trees

Circle Centre Mall will kick off the holiday season by hosting its first-ever “Deck the Trees,” to benefit the Simon Youth Foundation and the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP).

Deck the Trees will showcase Christmas trees created by more than 20 local organizations and design firms. On November 12, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., Deck the Trees will launch the tree exhibit with a cocktail party and gathering. The event will feature food, drinks, a silent auction, and musical entertainment including strolling carolers to get shoppers in the holiday spirit. Mall retailers will be offering special discounts, promotions and product demonstrations, and attendees will have the opportunity to enter to win one of the decorated trees, for a $5 suggested donation to CHIP. A few of the special discounts include 30% off entire merchandise at Banana Republic, 20% off Yankee Candle and 20% off the total bill at Johnny Rockets. The Sweet Factory and Haagen Dazs will be offering buy one, get one discounted deals, as well.

The Deck the Trees exhibit will be on display in Circle Centre Mall from November 12, 2009 – November 29, 2009. The exhibit is open to the public and free of charge.
