Description
In 1949 Indianapolis, entrepreneurs Ed and Thelma Schoenberger had an idea to create a show that featured Holiday gift ideas, Santa Claus and a variety of arts and crafts, and the Christmas Gift & Hobby Show was born. From a handful of exhibitors and, of course, Santa, the show has grown. Over 60,000 patrons attended last year, and the show now boasts over 350 exhibitors selling something for everyone. For 60 years the city of Indianapolis has marked the beginning of the holiday season with the opening of the Christmas Gift & Hobby Show. Held in the West Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, this event covers 4 acres. Everything youd need to have an enjoyable day is within the facility including food service, entertainment, and of course a Holiday shopping adventure. Seating is provided throughout the show. The West Pavilion is barrier-free for the physically challenged.
