Event details: Lake Cascade Free Nordic Ski Day
Description
The community is invited to attend Idaho Free Ski Day being held on Saturday January 10, 2009 at the Hasbrouck Ranch Nordic Trail area. Hasbrouck Ranch Nordic Trails are located on Cabarton Rd approximately 1.5 miles west of the Highway 55 and are maintained by the South Valley County Rec. District.
The event will run from 10am to 2 pm. There will be Nordic ski gear as well as snowshoes available for use free of charge provided by West Mountain Gear and Grind as well as Pro Peak Sports. Instructors will also be on hand to offer beginner lessons. Free snacks and hot beverages will be provided by University of Idaho, Horizons-Lifestyle and Education Team.
- Free ski and snowshoe use from 10am to 2pm (sponsored by West Mountain Gear and Grind and Pro Peak Sports).
- Free beginner Nordic Ski instruction from 10am to 2pm.
