DESCRIPTION:  Worldwide\, over one million cord rosaries are made by h
	and by volunteers and distributed free of charge each year. In this wo
	rkshop\, we will learn how to make the popular all-twine knot rosary. 
	Next to Mission rosaries and Ranger Rosaries\, twine rosaries are very
	 popular. While these rosaries take longer to make\, the handwork is v
	ery meditative. These rosaries are popular with teens\, and can be mad
	e from brightly colored twine - available in neon colors! Once you get
	 started making rosaries\, you can send them overseas to priests that 
	request them\, or give them to friends\, family or charities closer to
	 home. Materials for this workshop and handouts are provided free. If

	rican Art Museum We will meet in the Kogod Courtyard\, a 28\,000–squa
	re–foot space at the center of the National Portrait Gallery/American
	 Art Museum building. The Courtyard has a wavy glass-and-steel roof th
	at provides ideal light for rosary making. This is a peaceful public s
	pace with fountains. The Courtyard features a Museum gift shop on one 
	side and a Cafe kiosk on the other. The kiosk offers coffee\, tea\, dr
	inks\, salads and sandwiches which you can eat anywhere in the courtya
	rd. Metro: Gallery Place-Chinatown Station (Red\, Yellow and Green lin
	es). Take the Arena exit at 7th and F Streets. Look to your right and 
	you will see a large tan historic building. Cross the street go to the
