DESCRIPTION:  Last month's meet-up was a great time for everyone. Not 
	only did attendees enjoy delicious pizza and tasty filtered tap water\
	, we got to view the documentary Thirst. Read about the success Food &
	 Water Watch shared with the community in Stockton\, CA. This month ge
	t your creative juices flowing as we make signs and props for an ocean
	 fish farm demonstration. As usual\, please RSVP so I know how much fo
	od to order! Food & Water Watch is a non-profit consumer advocacy orga
	nization that fights the corporate control of our food and water resou
	rces. We believe that everyone has the right to know where our food an
	d water comes from\, that it is free of added chemicals or artificial 
	hormones\, and that it was produced using sustainable practices. Food 
	& Water Watch is dedicated to working on behalf of the public to asser
	t and regain these rights as we lobby for effective government standar
	ds and oversight\, organize the public to take action\, and educate th
	e public and the media on these basic issues. We're starting these mon
	thly meetups as a way to educate our supporters on Food & Water Watch 
	issues and to cultivate them into serious activists willing to take ac
	tion and spread the word.\n
