DESCRIPTION: Races: Marathon\, 24 Hours\, 12 Hours Enjoy the 14th runn
	ing of this intimate mid-summer festival of endurance running held alo
	ng the shores of Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield\, MA (just 15 miles no
	rth of Boston). The flat\, scenic\, wheel-measured 3.16 mile loop cour
	se is lighted\, well marked\, and routed entirely on paved surfaces (s
	idewalks\, paths\, and office park access road) except for a 35 yard s
	ection of dirt path. Aid stations\, located at opposite ends of the la
	ke\, are approximately 1.5 miles apart. Limited onsite lodging is avai
	lable. Awards for all finishers. Prizes presented to Top 3 finishers (
	M/F) of Individual races as well as Top finishing Team. A special "Tak
	e the Lake Century Award" hand crafted by a local Somerville artist is
	 provided to all individuals who complete at least 31 laps around the 
	course (101+ miles). The Somerville Road Runners (SRR.org) is proud to
	 host these four distinct races in continued support of the Begg's Lab
	oratory at Children’s Hospital Boston and the Wakefield Educational 
	Foundation.Timing / ResultsAll races will be chip timed.
