DESCRIPTION: California Music Fest is the celebration of the Californi
	a Culture Music\, Surf\, and Art. It takes place Independence weekend 
	in the beautiful city by the sea Ventura\, CA in conjunction with the 
	already established and very popular Ventura Street Fair. Last years s
	treet fair featured a massive turn out of over 45\,000 people. This ye
	ar with the City of Venturas inclusion of the California Music Fest\, 
	over 150 bands will be featured as well. The city is expecting an even
	 larger attendance of up to 60\,000 for 2009. All genres of music is r
	epresented at the California Music Fest. California Music Fest will be
	 booking talent from all over the country on the outdoor stage located
	 in Venturas Entertainment Districts downtown park\, as well as 15 of 
	the downtowns unique venues to showcase emerging indie and established
	 artists both in music and the arts in downtown Ventura. The music wil
	l run non-stop from 12 PM - 2 AM for those two days. In addition\, the
	re will be a surf competition running in the early morning to afternoo
	n at Ventura Beach which is only 3 blocks from the stage and venues. L
	ow brow\, rock and surf art will be displayed. California Music Fests 
	mission in creating this festival is to bring together all elements of
	 California lifestyle in one exciting event.
