	ocated east of Tipton in North Central Kansas. Doug is a mountain bike
	 enthusiast and has established 13 miles of private trails winding thr
	ough the creeks\, pastures\, native grass\, and croplands of the farm.
	\n\nOn Saturday\, August 29th\, 2009\, the Palens will host their 6th 
	annual Cruise the Blues festival. The day starts at 11:00 a.m. with th
	e race and continues with concessions and raffle drawings for cool pri
	zes donated by our generous sponsors.\n\nThe day's festivities conclud
	e with an awards ceremony including 50 trophies and $2\,400 in cash pr
	izes right before an exciting live blues concert!
