	ance. Founded in 1973\, San Jose Taiko is one of the country’s oldes
	t taiko guilds\, renowned for its uniquely American style\, blending a
	ncient Japanese rhythms and movement with African\, Balinese\, Brazili
	an\, Latin and jazz percussion and contemporary dance. Troupe members 
	not only perform\, but also compose\, choreograph\, costume\, even han
	dcraft the drums in this art form which celebrates harmony. Taiko last
	 performed at Sunnyvale Theatre in 2003.\n
