	ic. Reiki is a safe natural therapy that promotes healing on all level
	s by the action of a gentle nurturing energy radiating from a Reiki Pr
	actitioner's hands. It is widely used throughout the world to promote 
	health and enhance personal growth. Reiki is an ancient healing therap
	y that dates back thousands of years. Some believe it originated in Ti
	bet\, others in India or Egypt. We do know that it surfaced in the nin
	eteenth century in Japan through a man named Dr. Usui and was introduc
	ed to the west in the late 1960's by Mrs. Hawayo Takata. I practice Tr
	aditional Usui Shiki Ryoko Reiki. It has become the foundation for my 
	spiritual path. In this meet up\, I will explain more of the history o
	f Reiki and how it can be used in ones own life. Meet and greet will o
	ccur between 6pm and 7pm with snacks and beverages provided. At 7pm th
	e Introduction to Reiki will begin and will be about an hour long\, wi
	th time for questions and answers at the end.\n
