	rector. Here are some recent highlights. Louis has been cast to star w
	ith Ricky Gervais in a new film entitled "This Side of the Truth"\, wh
	ich is written and directed by Ricky Gervais. Louis was the star and c
	reator of HBO’s first and only multi-camera sitcom "Lucky Louie" which
	 ran for one season and then was cancelled. Louis starred in his own o
	ne hour standup special on HBO called "Louis C.K.: SHameless" which wa
	s critically acclaimed. A year later\, he shot his second Hour SPecial
	 called "Louis C.K.: Chewed Up" at the Berklee Performance Center in B
	oston Mass. Louis recently signed a deal with CBS to write and create 
	a new series pilot\, which he is writing with Pamela Adlon\, who playe
	d his wife on Lucky Louie. Louis had substancial parts in two other fi
	lms "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins" starring Martin Lawrence and "Dimini
	shed Capacity" starring Matthew Broderick and Alan Alda. Louis wrote a
	 film called "I think I Love my Wife" with Chris rock. Awards: Won Emm
