	 Presentation: David Webster will share five key insights that should 
	matter to your business now. Drawing from project stories that range f
	rom health and wellness to consumer experience delivery\, David will h
	ighlight IDEO's design methodology\, illustrating how design can help 
	to solve some of the world's most complex problems. Speaker: David is 
	an IDEO partner and project lead. He leads convergence projects and re
	lationships within the Health and Wellness practice\, where convergenc
	e refers to the intersection between healthcare and all of the ideo ch
	annels of consumer experience delivery. David previously led the San F
	rancisco office for 4 years\, growing it from 30 to 78 designers. He h
	as been with the company since 1997\, contributing as a multidisciplin
	ary design project leader\, concept generator and design engineer at a
	ll phases of development on projects ranging from Internet appliances 
	for start-ups to new business strategy for multinational corporations.
	 Prior to joining IDEO\, David worked as an industrial designer for GK
	 Dynamics in Tokyo\, where he designed motorcycles for Yamaha\; for Lo
	ndon innovation consultant WhatIf\, generating and consumer testing ne
	w product concepts\; and for Unilever in Europe\, where he managed new
	 packaging process design and implementation projects. David holds a M
	Des in Industrial Design Engineering from the Royal College of Art\, a
	 BEng Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh and a DI
	C in Industrial Design Engineering from Imperial College\, London. He 
	also holds diplomas in Japanese Language from the University of Sheffi
	eld and Naganuma School\, Tokyo. He has guest lectured at Stanford Gra
	duate School of Business\, Harvard Graduate School of Design and curre
	ntly teaches at California College of Arts in San Francisco. \n
