DESCRIPTION:An unconventional group stroll through the Gaslamp Quarter
	 of San Diego. This is a great event that MO and I took part in a coup
	le of years back and I interviewed the leaders from the Trummerflora C
	ollective on TNJT. While it is a holiday season event\, it's more abou
	t the group feel of the movement and sound. \n\nFrom the Trummerflora 
	Collective Calendar page: Unsilent Night is an audience participation 
	work\, an outdoor ambient music piece for an INFINITE number of boom b
	ox players. It's like a Christmas caroling party except that we don't 
	sing\, but rather carry boom boxes\, each playing a separate tape or c
	d which is part of the piece. In effect\, we become a city block long 
	stereo system! Performances in New York have been using hundreds of pa
	rticipants. The more people that are involved\, the more joyous a soun
	d we can create.\n
