DESCRIPTION: The California School Boards Association (CSBA) is a coll
	aborative group of virtually all of the states more than 1\,000 school
	 districts and county offices of education. It brings together school 
	governing boards and their districts and county offices on behalf of C
	alifornias children. CSBA is a member-driven association that supports
	 the governance team - school board members\, superintendents and seni
	or administrative staff - in its complex leadership role. CSBA develop
	s\, communicates and advocates the perspective of California school di
	stricts and county offices of education. The 2008 Annual Education Con
	ference and Trade Show will be held December 4 through December 6\, 20
	08 at the San Diego Convention Center. This years conference comes at 
	a critical time especially in light of the state budget crisis. We kno
	w many districts and counties face difficult budget decisions and gove
	rnance teams are mandated to provide services when funds are not alway
	s available.
