DESCRIPTION: Daily. Walk only during daylight. Trail is rated at 1+\, 
	not suitable for strollers nor wheelchairs. There is one moderate hill
	 and several busy intersections that require caution. Trail is routed 
	along Pensacola Bay\, through the historic district and parts of downt
	own. There has been a lot of preservation and restoration as well as o
	ngoing excavations. Many buildings have become restaurants\, shops\, m
	useums and businesses. Restorations within the historic district follo
	w strict guidelines. The walk loops through Saint Michael's Cemetery w
	ith internments dating back to Pensacola's early history.Gravesites in
	clude that of Stephen Mallory\, first Secretary of the Navy of the Con
	federacy\; one can also add that he was the ONLY one. A leaflet is pro
	vided for walkers noting points of interest. Crosses the CSX railroad 
	tracks and passes the old depot.
