	, or B+TEC is a three piece band that combines electric violin\, ukule
	le\, bass drums and keyboards. Fronted by Bitch\, who you may know fro
	m her former band Bitch and Animal (Righteous Babe Records)\, or John 
	Cameron Mitchell's movie "Shortbus\," and backed by Gabriel Kubitz and
	 Lee Free (circus amok).  Their show combines a harsh\, stripped down 
	art-rock sound with tender ukulele ballads and the personalities of la
	rger-than-life Bitch\, Gabriel's minimalist bass lines and vocal harmo
	nies\, and the fiery drumming of Lee Free\, who mixes electronic sound
	s into a huge acoustic drum set. On stage\, the three are obviously re
	lated\, but come at the world from such different places\, that the mu
	sic is a cacophony that bounces between Led Zepplin influences to Joni
	 Mitchell or Debbie Harry.  On February 16th B+TEC will release their 
	first recording together as a band.
