DESCRIPTION:Kenny Shanker grew up in Pleasanton\, California. He has b
	een playing the saxophone professionally since age 14. While in high s
	chool\, Kenny was selected to a number of all-state bands in both jazz
	 and classical music. He was twice chosen as a member of the Grammy Al
	l-American Jazz Band\, performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival\, and t
	wice toured Japan with the Monterey Jazz Festival High School All-Star
	 Big Band. Kenny is currently a student at Manhattan School of Music i
	n New York City. He performs frequently in small groups and big bands\
	, teaches private lessons and presents clinics to music students.
