DESCRIPTION:I am a bebop Jazz piano player. I began playing at the age
	 of eight\, and working professionally at the age of 12. My idols incl
	ude Bird\, Count Basie\, Bud Powell\, Sonny Clark\, Red Garland\, Hamp
	ton Hawes\, Art Tatum\, Thelonious Monk\, Buster Williams\, Sonny Stit
	t\, Sam Jones\, and of course Mr. Benny Green. I am currently in schoo
	l at SUNY - Purchase (about 30 minutes north of Manhattan\, near Conne
	cticut). I like to spend my time in Manhattan Jazz clubs sitting in wi
	th Jimmy Cobb\, Frank Wess\, and all my heroes. You can hear me two ni
	ghts a week at Birdland Jazz Club (44th St. Between 8th and 9th)\, and
	 starting in the fall I will be working with jazz drummer Fukushi Tain
	aka.
