DESCRIPTION:Alan Chaubert is the Owner and Director of Shobo Music Stu
	dios. He offers lessons in Piano\, Trumpet\, Jazz Improvisation\, Comm
	ercial Arranging\, and even lessons in French. He offers lessons in a 
	variety of styles including classical\, pop\, jazz\, show tunes\, blue
	s\, and more. \n\nBorn in Switzerland\, Alan Chaubert started playing 
	Trumpet at the age of 12 and piano by 16. Since then he has been playi
	ng professionally with different local bands and classical orchestras\
	, as well as teaching music in private schools.\n\nIn 1985 he received
	 a degree in performance/teaching from the Geneva Conservatory with ho
	nors. From 1985-91\, after receiving two years full scholarship from S
	witzerland\, he decided to explore the world of jazz and studied at th
	e prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston where he perfected hi
	s studies in Jazz Improvisation and Commercial Arranging. (Diploma in 
	Commercial Arranging - 1990)\n\nDuring that time\, Alan exposed himsel
	f to a wide variety of styles from classical\, church music\, funk ban
	ds\, blues\, jazz\, and even salsa. He was a member for 4 years of one
	 of the Boston's Hottest R&B band\, "High Function".\n\nIn 1992\, Alan
	 became a band leader and started a long collaboration with a versatil
	e singer\, Yvonne Taylor\, as accompanist and musical director and has
	 produced 4 of her CDs. He has also organized 4 successful European to
