	 above specified timesRoy Nathanson has a varied career as a saxophoni
	st\, composer\, band-leader\, actor and teacher. He is leader and prin
	cipal composer of the Jazz Passengers\, a six piece group that he foun
	ded with Curtis Fowlkes in 1987. They have toured extensively and play
	ed major festivals in Europe as well as the J.V.C. Festival in New Yor
	k\, the De Maurier Festival In Canada and in clubs and concerts throug
	hout the U.S. and Canada. The band has also recorded eight albums. In 
	1994\, the band released an original vocal album\, Jazz Passengers In 
	Love which was produced by Hal Willner and Huge Dwyer for which Mr. Na
	thanson\, composed a variety of songs. A number of guest vocalists wer
	e featured\, including Jimmy Scott\, Jeff Buckley and Deborah Harry. S
	ince the summer of 1995 The Jazz Passengers\, have toured Europe and A
	merica with Ms. Harry\, and an occasional guest appearance by Vocalist
	 Elvis Costello. Tonight Nathanson will be joined by bassist Tim Kiah\
	; trombonist\, Curtis Fowlkes\; vibraphonist Bill Ware III\, and other
	 special guests.  To celebrate Joe’s Pub’s 10th Anniversary\, on O
	ctober 11th and 12th we are offering 10 free shows showcasing the dept
	h and variety of performances that have made Joe’s Pub the premier v
	enue for live music in New York City. Tickets for the 10 free shows wi
